Tuition reserves a student’s lesson time each week. Any lesson a student does not attend will be a forfeiture of that lesson. One lesson per four-week paid term may be rescheduled at the consent and availability of the class or teacher. Student must notify the teacher and the School of Music of any cancellation at least 24 hours in advance in order to receive a make-up for that lesson. All students are expected to come to class on time with their books/handouts. No food, drinks, or use of cell phones will be permitted in class. No cussing, yelling, or pushing of any other student will be tolerated. Any returned checks will be charged an NSF fee of $35.00
If a student withdraws no less than 24 hours before the first lesson, he/she will receive a 100% refund provided tuition is already paid in full (registration fee is non-refundable). Any withdrawals made after the first lesson will receive only partial credit and will be subject to a $25 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued after the second week. Flat 5 School of Music operates on a month-to-month basis. If you decide to discontinue lessons, verbal notice will be required in order to avoid being charged for the next month. You must notify us any time before the new month begins. Any withdrawals made during the current month will be subject to a $25 withdrawal fee and a 3.5% processing fee.
